But it can still sneak in around the edges sometimes.
The sense that you’re already behind or too late. The feeling that you really should have this figured out by now. The increasing pressure of that work situation, that family boundary, that website you’ve been working on.
I’m here to remind you:
Your ideas and conundrums and dreams don’t need to be pushed.
They yearn to be held.
This season especially is a natural time of wrestling and rest. With the increasing light, expectation and yearning grows, yet winter’s weight is real and persistent.
It’s a time of active hibernation.
Mama Bear unfolds and curls up again in her den.
Sap rises and falls and rises again.
We are in the sacred space of waiting and wanting.
It asks not to be stifled or rushed or forced, but to receive all of the tenderness we can muster.
Because it’s only in this sacred space of allowing that the weight can lift, pressure can be eased and external expectations are able to recede.
I know it’s not always easy to remember to be gentle with yourself.
I also know you don’t always have the energy to create your own sacred space, and that sometimes you just want someone else to create it for you and invite you in.
That’s why I created HELD.
A free, immersive mini-retreat, complete with deep watered reflections, healing journal inquiries. and a loving meditative journey to the cave of Mama Bear.
Tap below to lighten your load, create breathing room, and free yourself from your inner taskmaster, all by simply receiving the tender holding you need.
